What you’re about to install.

Meseekna is a quiet macOS app that reads the prompts you send to AI tools and gives you one daily reading on the four cognitive measures behind your best work. Everything below tells you exactly what it can see, what it can’t, and what changes on your Mac.

System requirements

If your Mac runs current AI tools, it runs Meseekna.

Permissions Meseekna will ask for

Each one is opt-in, with a plain-language explanation at the moment it’s requested. Decline any of them and Meseekna will tell you what stops working — nothing breaks silently.

Permission Why Meseekna needs it When you’re asked
Accessibility To read the prompts you type into ChatGPT, Claude, and other AI tools. This is the only way macOS lets an app see your outbound prompts without integrating with each tool individually. First launch
Start at login (optional) Lets Meseekna open automatically when you start your Mac so a daily reading is ready when you want it. Toggle anytime under System Settings → General → Login Items. Settings, opt-in
Notifications (optional) The one daily nudge. Off by default. Settings, opt-in

What Meseekna reads — and what it doesn’t

Meseekna only sees the words you type into AI prompt fields. It does not watch your screen, your keystrokes elsewhere, your files, or anything an AI tool says back.

What Meseekna reads

  • Outbound prompts you type into ChatGPT, Claude, and other AI tools

What it never reads

  • Anything you type outside an AI prompt field — passwords, emails, documents, search bars, chat in other apps
  • What the AI model says back to you
  • Files on disk, browsing history, screenshots, screen contents
  • Audio, video, or activity in any other application

Version & changelog

User-facing changes only. This list and the update notifications inside the app both pull from the same live release feed.

v0.2.54Jun 17, 2026

Thinker now lives in the Dock with its own menu bar — switch to it, hide it, and quit it like any other Mac app, instead of it living only in the menu bar. The app now appears everywhere as “Thinker” — Dock, menu bar, and app switcher.

v0.2.53Jun 17, 2026

Upgrading to Pro now lets you choose your billing right in the app: monthly is the default, with annual — two months free — one tap away. More reliable reading of your focused prompt field in Chrome and other Chromium-based browsers.

v0.2.45Jun 11, 2026

Thinker now reads your prompts in Chrome, Arc, Brave, Edge, and other Chromium-based browsers — previously the ⌘⇧M rewrite hotkey reported “Couldn’t read the focused field” in those browsers.
